Paisley Leaf is inspired by a pattern at Cressida's grandmother Vanessa Bell’s house Charleston in Sussex. She overlaid a floral pattern over a large paisley design to great effect – so she have borrowed the idea. This vase-shaped table lamp is adorned with the design in shades of grey-blue and red looks stunning with the matching Paisley Leaf 10” lampshade in blue.
These unique lamp bases are designed to go with her selection of lampshades. They are made of turned elm and produced especially for them in Sussex. She paint each one by hand which means no two are ever the same – though perfection is her aim. They are all bear her painted signature near to the base.
After painting they receive a protective semi-matt varnish and are fitted with a brass switched bayonet cap lampholder and a classic linen-covered stripey cream & black flex.
